Penmal Connect Ltd is an educational consultancy that helps students apply to universities and colleges abroad. We are registered as a UK limited company and operate from Zambia, serving students internationally.
When you apply or work with us, we may collect: your name, contact details, date of birth and nationality; academic history and qualifications; study goals and destination preferences; parent or guardian details; and documents you provide such as passports, transcripts, certificates and test results.
We use your information to process your application, prepare and submit applications to universities and education partners on your behalf, communicate with you about your application, provide visa and pre-departure guidance, and improve our services. We only use your information for the purpose of helping you with your education journey.
Your information and documents are stored securely using industry-standard cloud infrastructure (including Supabase for our database and file storage). Access is restricted to authorised Penmal Connect staff who are assisting with your application.
To process your application, we may share relevant information with the universities, colleges and education partners you are applying to. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for marketing purposes.
You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request corrections, and to request that we delete your information where we are not legally required to keep it. To make any such request, contact us at admissions@penmalconnect.co.uk.
We keep your personal information only for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet any legal or record-keeping obligations. When your information is no longer required, we take reasonable steps to delete it securely. You may request deletion at any time, and we will comply where we are not required by law to retain the information.
Our website may use essential cookies to keep you signed in to your student portal and to help the site function. We do not use cookies to track you across other websites.
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
Penmal Connect provides guidance and support with university applications, document preparation, and visa and pre-departure advice. We act as a consultancy and advisor; we do not make admission or visa decisions, which rest solely with the relevant institutions and authorities.
While we work hard to give you the best possible chance of success, we cannot and do not guarantee admission to any university, the award of any scholarship, or the approval of any visa. These decisions are made by universities, funding bodies and immigration authorities at their own discretion.
You agree to provide accurate, complete and truthful information and documents. Providing false or misleading information may result in the rejection of your application by universities or authorities, and may end our ability to assist you. You are responsible for meeting deadlines and requirements communicated to you.
Access to the student portal is granted to students working with us. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. To change the email linked to your account, please contact your advisor.
Where fees apply to any of our services, these will be communicated to you clearly in advance. Any fees charged by universities, testing bodies or immigration authorities are separate and payable directly to those organisations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Penmal Connect is not liable for decisions made by universities or immigration authorities, or for losses arising from inaccurate information provided to us, or from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Where any service fees apply, the terms of those fees — including whether and when they are refundable — will be set out in the service agreement or communication provided to you before payment. Fees paid directly to universities, testing bodies or immigration authorities are subject to those organisations' own refund policies, not ours.
We take your concerns seriously. If you are unhappy with any part of our service, please contact us at admissions@penmalconnect.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve the matter promptly and fairly.
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, where Penmal Connect Ltd is registered.
